Malcolm Bricklin On Hybrid Cars, Auto Bailout and The Car Cz

Author: admin  |  Category: hybrid auto

If you’ve ever sen the car in the video it’s called the Bricklin SV-1 and was made between 1974 and 1976. It’s maker is Malcolm Bricklin, an American Entrepreneur. Bricklin brought Suburu to America from Japan, as well as Fiat X1-9, and the Yugo.

In the 90s he turned his attention to making environmentally friendly vehicles, making an electric bike called The EV Warrior.

Today, Bricklin is combining his experience with fuel cell technology and his knoweldge of manufacturing techniques and economics to create a line of plug - in hybrid vehicles or PHEVs, which he says can be installed in your car right now, making it more gas efficient.

I sat down with Bricklin at the San Francisco screening of “The Entrepreneur” , a movie about him. In our talk, he revealed that he got a call that morning to be the President-Elect’s “Car Czar”, a job he turned down. He explained why.

The US Treasury on their own have dispensed billions more to financial firms. The Federal Reserve, a private company owned by foreign bankers, refuses to identify who it has given the US money it has loaned out of thin air created from debt that will hobble our children and grand children

    The tech works …
The tech works because I have build one of the Hydrogen devices and used it on my Mercury Villager mini van. 6 cylinder engine 17 city 22 highway - I know get about 23 city and 29 - 31 highway - not the 40 + that some claim but great increase none the less - I have done some things with the computer mapping and will continue to work on it - my car is a ‘96 that looks almost new and I have never had any issues with it - only 116,000 miles - so it’s a good test bed

    He is saying the …
He is saying the same thing I have been discussing for a while…I have seen people push the Hydrogen tech, and use words like run on water, and other things that don’t make sense, and I knew it would cause problems. Plus as a long time car guy, I understood that introducing the tech in new cars that are run by computers today would negate the effects. Just like if you used less octane than the manufacturer suggests, the computer would compensate in your vehicle. What a great man.
